Ben's Birthday started off with a message from Jingles

Ben woke up at 6:30 so he could open his presents before Drew left for work

After school, we met Sarah and her family at Disneyland and then my mom and Tom and Drew showed up later in the evening

Ben's 6th Birthday was another great one for Ben and for us!

6!!!

I really cannot believe that next week our little Ben is going to be six years old! 

He really is growing up and every day he shows us that. From loose teeth to reading books by himself, he is no longer a little boy. Some things never change though and he continues to have a heart that loves his family, a smile that melts us and a stubborn side that may just have beat out his mother's stubbornness. He's one of a kind :-)

On Sunday, the boys sat down with Drew to draw pictures of pirate ships.

Drew and Jack worked on this one together. It's our family as pirates and we all have swords, even the dog

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

in our house!

Saturday evening we decorated our Christmas tree and the boys decorated their new miniature tree.

Sunday morning the boys woke up to a surprise return from Jingles. He brought a North Pole breakfast with him.

Thanksgiving Day Celebration

Last Friday, Ben's class celebrated Thanksgiving with a performance for the parents followed by a party and feast in their classroom

Noni's 90th Birthday Party

Last month, Drew's Grandmother turned 90! Anyone who knows Noni knows what an amazing person she is. We are grateful that we were able to be there to celebrate her.

Our Sunday with family

For the past month, Ben has asked just about every day when he can see his cousin, Aaron. He was so excited to get to see him this past weekend. Aaron is great with both of the boys and they had a great time running around playing together.

It is always good to visit with my Grandma. Ben and Jack had fun riding on the golf cart while I was able to spend time visiting.

Our next stop was to Sarah and Chad's house

I love being close enough to family where we can make a little day trip to visit them

Friday night

After dinner this evening, we headed out for ice cream and play time and ended it with a train ride.
