Drew turned 30!

Wow, it's been over a month since Drew's birthday. If you know Drew, than you know that he doesn't like a big fuss for things like his birthday. It didn't seem right not celebrating the big 30 so we had a low key weekend with the most important people throughout Drew's 30 years (his parents, brother and the boys and I). A few days later when it was his actual birthday, he spent the day at work. Once he got home, the four of us celebrated with dinner and dessert.

Jack and I made brownies (per Drew's request) while Ben was at school

Waiting for dad to come downstairs so they could eat the brownies

how old are you?

getting some help from these two little ones

Another season finished

Ben finished up his second season of t-ball this month. We had fun watching his games (at least when we weren't chasing Jack around).

Well done Benjamin! We can't wait to see many more games of yours in the future :)

Bay area discovery museum

Yesterday we had a great family day at the discovery museum.
It was our first time here and there was a lot for the boys to explore.

They really do love each other

Jack's first trip the emergency room

This past weekend while in Fresno, Jack tripped while playing outside. The curb broke his fall and left him with a big goose egg on his forehead. Right away, Loree and I took Jack to the emergency room to get checked out. Thank goodness he was ok! He had us all worried.

Life around here...

Has been busy! Between trips to see family and lots of summer activities, the boys and I have been staying busy. With that said, I have lots to update on here and I really will make it a point to get it all done soon. Until then, I leave you with this pictures of my boys.

Ben the gymnast

Today was "show day" for Ben's gym class

They each got to perform their routines for the families

Up until this week, Ben has been in the Tuesday morning class which is a good mix of boys and girls. We had to switch him to the Monday afternoon class since he starts summer school tomorrow. We were surprised when we showed up today and it was a class full of girls. Ben didn't seem to notice that he was the only boy. In a couple of months he can go back to his regular class.

Bye bye crib

After almost 4.5 straight years of use, the crib has been taken down. Jack is now sleeping in his bed and doing quite well with it.

Swim lessons

Last week Ben had his first swim lesson.

Despite him being scared for weeks before the actual lesson, once he got there, he did great.

Waiting for his teacher to take him into the pool

Practicing his kicking

Riding on the "magic carpet"

Ben will keep going to swim lesson twice a week for the summer and in 2 weeks, Jack starts his swim lessons,

He made it through the year

Ben's one year down and has a whole lot more to go in school

Last Wednesday, he had his last day of pre-school (for the school year)

He made it a whole year in the Chipmunk class

He had great teachers, a lot of friends, learned all kind of new things

and not once did he shed a tear at school, so unlike his mom and dad
